Toronto artists have a sound the world adores them for. Legends like Party, Roy Woods and The Weeknd have all mastered it. It’s that sultry Rnb, 90s but not, grind on your person for hours slowly-type soul music.
REGI FLIH, who has chosen not to show his face with his sound, is doing it too. Creating more intrigue with that mystery, his sound really does speak for itself.
The new EP ‘Careless’ is described as an openly emotional expedition:
He says “This project is an embodiment of everything I used to do when I was young and reckless.
“When life was full of careless moments and actions without consequences, before I began to mature. It cycles through my heartaches and shows the things that evolved me into the person I am in this present moment.”
Recorded in Perth (Australia) and Toronto (Canada), mixed by Jacob Richards in Los Angeles (United States) and mastered by Chunkyluv in Sydney (Australia) he says, “This has truly been a global project”!
